Looking to customize your own server? We offer custom Dell PowerEdge and HP ProLiant rack servers. Get one built just for you by professional technicians. Easily pick the parts you want using our server configurator. We offer a wide range of components, allowing you to fully customize your own server.
Need many cores/several virtual machines and not much storage? We have that. Need a lot of storage but less processing power? We have that too. Build your own specs with TechMikeNY.
We carry a variety of 1U and 2U servers from HP and Dell, among other manufacturers. You can pick one of our pre-configured servers, or choose to build your own. Even if you don’t own or plan on owning a rack, a customized rackmount server offers the best value, flexibility and performance to price ratio.
Intel® Xeon® processor inside means a server is equipped with enhanced virtualization capabilities (Intel VT-x and VT-d) ensuring maximum efficiency and flexibility when working with hypervisor applications like VMWare ESXI. In addition to that, with Intel SpeedStep technology these processors will dynamically adjust their power usage and reduce their clock speed when the load is light. When the load is heavy Intel Turboboost will bring the clock speed up to give it that extra kick.
DDR3 memory means these servers meet the needs of modern applications that can benefit from increases in memory speed. Mike knows that different uses means vastly different memory requirements so We offer configurations varying from 8GB RAM to over 128GB RAM.
In addition to the wide range of capacities that can be installed, these servers support ECC (Error-correcting code) memory. This enables operation in mission-critical environments where consistent system uptime is required and data integrity must be preserved. Here at TechMikeNY, we recommend that all mission-critical systems that require a high uptime be configured with ECC ram.
With support for redundant hot-plug power supplies, you won’t have to worry about data loss due to a power supply failing. These power supplies can be connected to two separate power lines so as to ensure that a power outage doesn’t interrupt server operations. If one power supply is still connected, the other can be swapped out without shutting the server down, ensuring a power supply failure does not cause an outage.
Power supplies have a sweet-spot where they are most efficient. To support a wide range of setups, ranging from economy-energy-saving to efficient-high-performance, these servers are compatible with power supplies of varying wattages. By matching the proper wattages to the amount of power expected to be consumed by the server, you can keep your power supplies running at their optimal efficiency level.
